Bookkeeper

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
  • 7+ years experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Tax Software
  • Knowledge about construction, hospitality and/or healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience working at a CPA firm required

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with account reconciliation, payroll, account analysis and preparation of financial statements
  • Support the accounting team in day-to-day operations
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Works as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.
