Bookkeeper
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
7+ years experience as a Bookkeeper
Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Tax Software
Knowledge about construction, hospitality and/or healthcare industry a plus
Experience working at a CPA firm required
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with account reconciliation, payroll, account analysis and preparation of financial statements
Support the accounting team in day-to-day operations
Assist with tax preparation and filing
Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Works as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines
Perform other related tasks as needed.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
